Job Description:

Primary Purpose:

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing all sales, service, distribution, profit objectives, as well as developing and managing sales teams within the Bristol County territory.

Responsibilities:

• Motivate and lead personnel to meet established goals and objectives.
• Establish and maintain customer rapport by personally visiting and developing relationships with accounts. Maintain superior relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor sales staff performance in managing accounts receivable and ABC credit policies.
• Evaluate employee performance, conduct ride-withs, coach and train employee performance to ensure plans are met.
• Discipline employees as necessary and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Prepare reports and analyze company and competitive brand activity. Report sales opportunities to Burke leadership. Required Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to organize, plan and manage time effectively.
  • Possess basic analysis, objective setting, tracking, and measuring abilities. Able to analyze information from various sources, reach conclusions and provide input into larger planning process.
  • Self-directed requiring limited supervision
  • Able to pull, push, and lift 75lbs.
  • Ability to take initiative, own issues and problem solve.
  • Proficient in use of an iPad and eoStar
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a sales team. Demonstrate approachability, composure, and customer focus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of work experience in the beverage business
  • Must have a valid MA driver's license Behavioral Characteristics:
