Lucianos Excavation is looking for a Project Manager to lead the way on our projects, handling all submittals, work plans, schedules, and making sure our site supers understand the project and specs. The project manager will work hand and hand with our senior project manager and our bidder to ensure the project is done on schedule and within budget! If you are highly organized, deadline driven, and have strong people management skills, Lucianos Excavation can provide an excellent opportunity to work on major government contracts in the New England area.

Pay based on experience and knowledge in the industry

Responsibilities:

Inform key stakeholders of the status of the project by producing regular progress reports
Ensure teams work to follow all health and safety standards to prevent injuries and obstacles to project completion, and quickly report any safety regulation issues
Forecast monetary needs for the project and accurately manage the budget
Manage general contractors and construction workers and give guidance as needed to ensure high-quality project performance
Negotiate profitable agreements with external vendors, contractors, and critical subcontractors

--- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
--- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
--- Track project costs in order to meet budget
--- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
--- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
--- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
--- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
--- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

Qualifications:

College degree (Bachelor's) in construction management, engineering, or another relevant field
Experience using construction or project management software preferred
In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
Minimum 1 year of work experience in construction management
OSHA 30 certification
--- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
--- 1-5 years of project management and related experience
--- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
--- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
--- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
--- Excellent analytical skills
--- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
--- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
