We---re seeking for a Maintenance Supervisor to work at a leading dairy product manufacturing company in Taunton MA. Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Tech Supervisor Pay Rate: $28/Hr. Shift: Monday thru Friday 10:00pm to 6:30am Terms of Employment: Direct Hire Summary: Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed to keep machines and mechanical equipment operating efficiently and in a safe manner. Coordinate with Plant Management to establish maintenance schedules on various machines so as to minimize downtime on production. Responsibilities: Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and instructions Create and manage work orders in L2L, conducting necessary maintenance or repairs as needed. Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures at all times and ensure all Maintenance Personnel are following Lockout/Tagout procedures at all times. Inspect, operate or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance actions. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary. Repair machines, equipment or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. Maintain constant communication with Plant Management regarding any maintenance issues that may arise so that Plant Management can adjust their production schedule accordingly. Assist in the setup and teardown of machines and equipment at beginning and end of shifts. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations. Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies. Skills/Qualifications: 3 years--- experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred Strong mechanical aptitude Familiar with PM programs such a MVP or Leading to Lean Highly motivated to strive for operational excellence and coach others Strong communicator both written and verbal Knowledge and experience with food safety Strong comprehension on PLC, VFD, HMI, Boilers, Refrigeration, Pumps, Schematics and Pneumatics preferred Training Requirements: General Safety Quality System Awareness Food Safety & SQF Training Lockout/Tagout Forklift certification Company Description At Kelly, we---re always thinking about what---s next and advising job seekers on new ways of working to reach their full potential.
