role is determined by a number of factors including skills,
experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary
range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for
all employees in these positions across the national market and
provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop

compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus

the compensation plan for the role. Description Liberty Mutual
Mobility Solutions (LMMS) is a highly collaborative team that draws
on the firm's vast commercial and personal lines capabilities to
bring a full range of tailored solutions and nuanced approaches to
the rapidly evolving mobility landscape. This dedicated practice
combines creative commercial underwriting with product, actuarial,
legal, and claims teams insights to stay ahead of market needs,
anticipate emerging risks, and deliver tailored coverage and
programs. You will help shape Liberty's role in the future of the
Mobility platform ecosystem by applying your exceptional
underwriting skills and deep curiosity to evaluate and serve key
clients in the Ridehail, Gig Delivery, and Autonomous Vehicle
sectors, to name a few. Mobility Solutions was named Insurance

five years. As an Executive Underwriter, your sophisticated
underwriting acumen will help this team successfully navigate a
unique blend of developing products and exposures, with a
heightened focus on primary commercial casualty lines (auto and
GL), as well as Workers Compensation, and an opportunity to
collaborate across the firm. Underwriting mobility-as-a-service
platforms requires curiosity and innovation to understand how
businesses look today and anticipate what they will become
tomorrow. If you have strong analytical, communication, and

the place for you. Work Arrangements: Hybrid in-office 2 days per
week if you are within 50 miles of a hub office. Responsibilities:
Risk Selection and Deal Execution: Reviews, underwrites, and
assesses mobility-as-a-service platform clients and prospective
opportunities (ridesharing, gig delivery, autonomous
vehicles,vehicle sharing, etc.) in accordance with guidelines and
authority parameters. Collaborates with cross functional peers and
expert resources, as appropriate, to make informed analytical and
data-driven decisions, price and structure proposals, tailor and
articulate coverage positions, enable comprehensive account
reviews, and negotiate solutions, while maintaining strong
documentation and communication. Broker and Client Relationships:
Demonstrates a high level of responsiveness and focus on supporting
broker and client objectives. Establishes, develops, and maintains
successful relationships to facilitate successful outcomes through
clear and collaborative partner communications. Develops strong
personal brand while articulating our strong value proposition to
build and maintain a long-term quality pipeline. Portfolio
Management: Manages and develops a portfolio of mobility risks,
identifying areas of opportunity for improved growth, profit, and
diversification through continuous monitoring and an active pulse
on the developing marketplace. Works with team to prioritize
strategic growth opportunities that will increase market share.
Stays abreast of developing guidelines, state regulations,
legislation, key legal cases, and claims trends to inform decision
making. Leadership & Innovation: Creates innovative insurance
solutions and helps develop underwriting protocols, products, and
coverages to address emerging risks; monitors and analyzes market
trends and competitive landscape. Provides input to the development
of marketing plans, product analysis, competitive intelligence, and
portfolio optimization across sectors, geographies, coverages, and
program structures. Shares knowledge based on technical expertise,
including providing external thought leadership. Mentors, coaches,
and trains other underwriters and internal partners. Continuous
Improvement: Actively participates in continuous improvement by
fully engaging in daily huddles, generating suggestions, and
participating in problem solving activities. Participates in
projects across departments designed to drive underwriting and
process excellence. Teamwork: Collaborates with cross-functional
team members and other departments including product, claims,
actuarial, client, service, risk control, legal, underwriting
support, and other line underwriting teams. Additional
Qualifications: Rating Plan experience across primary casualty
lines (e.g. large deductibles, retrospective rating, excess over
self-insurance; experience with Captives preferred) Experience with
drafting manuscripts and custom policy language preferred
Qualifications Degree in Business or equivalent typically required
A minimum of 7 years expected, typically 10 years or more, of
progressive underwriting experience and/or other related business
experience CPCU or professional insurance designation preferred
Proven analytical ability to evaluate and judge underwriting risks
within scope of responsibility Demonstrated ability to communicate
complex analyses and information in understandable written and/or
oral directives to other persons in the organization for
underwriting or training purposes Demonstrated effective
communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and
external stakeholders Must demonstrate comprehension of most
complex technical underwriting issues and be capable of defining
and implementing necessary underwriting and administrative
processes/workflows to properly manage or administer those issues
