Job Description:

The Home Assistance Programs offer daily assistance with the physical and social needs of elders and disabled adults living in designated housing units. -For persons at risk of institutionalization, the Home Assistance Programs (HAP) provide important community living options that recognize and preserve the independence and good health of persons requiring supervision. -Care is provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other professionally trained direct care aids. -

Our Home Assistance Program is currently looking for part time direct care aids (CNA/HHA) in the Taunton, MA -area. - We are offering up 25 flexible hours per week, -Monday - Sunday 7am - on, will vary. Day time shifts only.Job Duties:

• Direct Care Aids monitor the placement status in the home and provides assistance with participant's daily living needs as directed by a plan of care ensuring that personal care services are provided on a daily basis.
• Duties may include: cleaning and general housekeeping, assist with shopping, provide on-going supervision of the participant's health related activities.Education and Experience:

• The ideal applicant must have successfully completed a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and/or Home Health Aide (HHA) training program and possess a certificate of course completion and/or a valid license.
• Equivalent training or experience could be substituted for certification/licensure.This position does not include benefits. -Based on member -need, we are seeking bi-lingual English/Portuguese speaking candidates. - -Bi-lingual Portuguese/English speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. - -
