SUMMARY: Coordinates work flow and assists supervisor to ensure work is performed in priority order. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Coordinates work flow and ensures work is performed in priority order Informs supervisor immediately for any change in 4M's (man / woman, machine, material, method) Maintains tools and equipment in proper working condition at all times, and performs minor adjustments to machines in the area Keeps supervisor advised about production, equipment, safety, and potential bottlenecks Fills in on line for vacations and absenteeism KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Requires knowledge typically acquired through: Completion of a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two or more years related production experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Exceptional working knowledge of equipment and procedures.
