Facility Assistant Sign on bonus $1500.00 _ (New Hires Only) __ All employees of Triumph must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 __Triumph supports the education, well-being and self-sufficiency of young children and their families through high quality early childhood programs and community engagement._ Responsibilities: Perform duties and tasks that ensure the safety and well-being of children, families, and staff at Triumph buildings and grounds by complying with all state and federal regulations Perform and carry out cleaning schedule to ensure Triumph buildings, vehicles, and grounds are clean, neat, safe and meet all regulatory and licensing requirements Includes daily cleaning and disinfecting of all classrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, offices, common areas, etc. Grounds upkeep to include snow removal, landscaping, cleaning parking lot, and ensuring playground safety Serve as essential emergency personnel during emergencies and/or weather related closings Requirements: Assist the Facilities Supervisor with completing building projects at all Triumph centers. Maintain professional and positive relationships with all contractors and vendors of Triumph, Inc. Assume duties of the Facilities Supervisor as assigned in their absence. Ability to use various tools, materials, equipment, and methods common to cleaning and maintaining an orderly and functional environment of learning Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Must pass EEC criminal background check High School Diploma or GED/Hi-Set preferred. Compensation: Salary range is _ $17.53 - $22.37 _dependent on experience. Qualifications: A High School Diploma, Certificate of General Education Development (GED) or HISET preferred; Knowledge of the practices, procedures, equipment and materials used for cleaning the center in such a way to promote health and safety. 2. Job Requirements: Must possess valid driver's license, reliable transportation and have ability to drive company vehicles Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. Must pass EEC criminal background check Ability to use various tools, materials, equipment, and methods common to cleaning and maintaining an orderly and functional environment of learning. Ability to climb ladders Ability to remove snow, large debris, furniture and equipment Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work independently Ability to follow schedules and meet deadlines Ability to work a flexible schedule to keep buildings safe, clean, and operational. Flexible schedules will be required during weather related emergencies and cleanup efforts. Ability to pass a physical exam every two years. Must comply with all OSHA and Blood Bourne Pathogens regulations and practices. Attend mandatory training yearly. 3. Job Responsibilities Perform duties and tasks that ensure the safety and well-being of children, families, and staff at Triumph buildings and grounds by complying with all state and federal regulations regarding such; Perform and carry out cleaning schedule to ensure Triumph buildings, vehicles, and grounds are clean, neat, safe and meet all regulatory and licensing requirements; Clean/disinfect adult restrooms and stock with needed supplies. Clean classrooms and classroom bathrooms and stock with needed supplies. Wash floors in common areas, meeting areas, offices, and kitchen. Dust and clean furniture in meeting and common areas Vacuum all carpeted areas. Clean edging. Empty classroom trash twice daily and clean barrels as needed. Empty office trash daily. Keep entrance and exits clear of debris, snow, and other hazards that would prohibit exiting during an emergency. Report minor maintenance repairs to the Facilities Supervisor. Perform minor repairs if directed to do so. Report damages to the Facilities Supervisor. Spot clean walls when needed. Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner. Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies. Provide needed supply inventory to the Facilities Supervisor. Perform basic grounds keeping. Including:o Snow blowing/shoveling, empty playground trash, sweeping playground sand and woodchips, racking woodchips, clean parking lot, remove trash and debris.o Assist the Facilities Supervisor with mowing lawns, leaf blowing/removal, weeding when needed. Check emergency exits and lights. Maintain building temperatures and water temperatures according to EEC regulations Assist Facilities Supervisor with moving equipment and/or supplies, painting and other duties as assigned. Attend meetings and trainings. Participate in monthly emergency drills. Assist the Facilities Supervisor with completing building projects at all Triumph centers. Maintain professional and positive relationships with all contractors and vendors of Triumph, Inc. Assume duties of the Facilities Supervisor as assigned in their absence.
