Responsibilities: Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll participate in requirements analysis, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, trade studies, systems integration and test (verification) in the development and evaluation of networks and information systems. What you'll experience: * Technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secret * A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's next * Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discovered What you bring to the table: * A Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree; Agile experience preferred * Solid knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles and theories * Solid knowledge of requirements management and system modeling tools * Familiarity with technical standards What sets you apart: * Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task * Ability to quickly grasp and apply new information * Effectively handle complex assignments * Ability to clearly recognize and report relevant to sound systems engineering design REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS: * Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools * Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems * Perform upgrades of software baseline * Perform upgrades of the networks including Virtual Machines, Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience * Clear understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories * Solid understanding of Virtualization (VMWare) technologies * Experience integrating software on a common operating system * Experience with scripting and automation technologies * Working knowledge of Agile tools * Experience troubleshooting networks such as windows logs and Linux logs * Experience testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development * Working knowledge of Windows products including Windows Server and Windows workstation operating systems, computer software setup and installation, PC connectivity products, and PC hardware connectivity. * Working knowledge of performing maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks. * Working knowledge of Cisco Routers/Switches. * Ability to travel to support our customers up to 25% of the year.
