Job Description:

Description: The CDL Driver operates commercial vehicles (dump trucks and flatbeds) to transport equipment and materials. They conduct vehicle inspections, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain logs. Compensation Non-Exempt Hourly with eligibility for annual performance bonus. Key Responsibilities Material Management: Maintain and organize the bulk materials yard. Ensure timely loading and replenishment of materials for field crews throughout the day. Allocate materials to the applicable jobs in the Aspire system. Maintain inventory and restock materials/products as needed or assigned. Material / Equipment Delivery & Hauling: Safely operate appropriate trucks, machinery, and equipment to pick up, haul, and deliver materials to the bulk storage area, storage facility, and client job sites. Mobilize heavy equipment to and from job sites as required. Vehicle & Equipment Safety: Perform daily safety checks and required inspections on vehicles and equipment. Report any issues or concerns to fleet mechanics for maintenance or repair. Planning & Coordination: Meet and communicate with the Project Managers and Sitework teams to develop daily/weekly plans for material and equipment mobilization needs. This includes daily messages in the SLP Trucking group for communication two days prior. Interact professionally with materials vendors and contractors as needed. Seasonal Snow Removal: Assist with snow removal duties (shoveling, plowing, salt/sand application) during the winter months as necessary. Performance Measurements Time entry accuracy = 95%. Accurate material allocations daily. Daily trucking communication in the SLP Trucking group message. Requirements: Skilled in operating large trucks, and small/large construction equipment safely. Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills. A valid driver’s license, DOT Medical Certification, and CDL-A License. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. Schedule Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 4:30 PM (Weekends and extended hours as needed) Our Values As a team member, you play a vital role in upholding our company values.
