Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN with recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and a NH or compact RN license. Details - Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit with a focus on medical specialty patients - Care for adults with acute and chronic conditions such as sepsis, kidney disease, diabetes, GI issues, and respiratory illnesses including cystic fibrosis - Patient caseload includes complex wounds and a variety of lines, tubes, and drains - Unit consists of 36 beds (1 East) and 25 beds (2/3 East) - Telemetry monitoring required - Day/night rotating shifts, 36 hours per week - No local candidates allowed within a 75-mile radius Requirements - Active NH or Compact RN license required - BLS certification required - Recent experience in Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma setting within the last 2 years - Experience with chest tubes, trachs/laryngectomies, drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone), central line care and blood draws, and complex wound care - Comfortable with telemetry and handling multiple types of tubes and drains Additional Information - Care responsibilities include hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients - Will manage patients with substance misuse and chronic conditions such as COPD and cystic fibrosis - No local candidates considered due to 75-mile radius requirement - Must maintain active license throughout assignment - Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on the rotation American Traveler Job ID P-674368.
