Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/08/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Jun 8, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience, Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma background, and a NH or Compact RN license. Details - 48-bed step-down unit serving cardiology, electrophysiology (EP), and cardiac surgical patients - Patient population includes cardiothoracic surgical, pre/post CHF, vascular, pulmonary hypertension, and telemetry patients - Patient ratios: 1:3 on days, 1:4–5 on nights depending on acuity - Day/night rotation required, 36 hours per week - Step-down level skills required include hemodynamic monitoring, invasive BP monitoring via arterial lines, Bi-PAP/C-PAP, low-dose pressors, vasoactive meds, inotropes, external pacers, epicardial wires, and TR bands - Med/surg level skills include chest tubes, telemetry, trachs/laryngectomies, complex wounds, central line care and maintenance including blood draws, and drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone Requirements - Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required (proof of state residency required) - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum of 1.5 years of recent, equivalent PCU/step-down or cardiac experience required - Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required - Two professional references from managers required for consideration Additional Information - Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position - Unit is currently expanding (HVU Unit Expansion) with multiple openings available American Traveler Job ID P-680089.
