Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Manchester, NH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,189 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG Test on arrival Must-Have: Strong PCU background within the last year. ED experience preferred but not required. First-timers accepted if they have 2 years of experience and EPIC experience. Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG Test on arrival. Description: Traveler will be contracted to care for inpatient and CICU Level holds in the ED. The position requires managing and titrating various drips, including Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labatolol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine. Common patient diagnoses include chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, and pneumonia. The unit will also see medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic overflow patients. Procedures include ICD and pacemaker insertions and cardioversions. Special equipment used includes Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, Alaris Pumps, and Phillips Monitoring System. Candidates should have skills related to heart failure, management of ventilated patients, wound care, telemetry, and the administration of blood products. Experience with the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is also required. The unit will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy to provide comprehensive patient care. Floating requirements may vary, and adherence to isolation precautions and PPE is mandatory. References are required, and impact on scheduling due to pre-existing obligations should be communicated.
