Central Vermont Medical Center, a reputable member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is pivotal in providing top-tier, patient-centered care in accordance with our mission to enhance community wellness. The ideal candidate will assist in daily patient care activities under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring optimal comfort and safety of our patients. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, and changing linens Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed Communicate with patients and families, providing emotional support and comfort Assist in the transportation of patients to various hospital departments Ensure cleanliness of patients' rooms and assist with infection control protocols Participate in team meetings and training sessions Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and infection control Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for long periods Proficient in documenting and maintaining patient records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid Nursing Assistant Certification CPR and Basic Life Support Certifications may be required
