Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active
registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Provide critical nursing care in a cardiac step-down
unit, specializing in telemetry and complex cardiac patient
management. This contract position offers the opportunity to work
in a 20-bed unit staffed with experienced teams and equipped with
advanced medical technology. Location: Dover, NH Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to cardiac step-down patients, including
med/surg tele and stroke overflow cases - Manage cardiac conditions
such as chest pain, CHF, and COPD with advanced interventions -
Perform specialized procedures including thoracentesis, peritoneal
dialysis (PD), tracheostomy care, pacemaker monitoring, and cardiac
catheterization support - Utilize telemetry monitoring and Meditech
Expanse documentation system accurately - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams following bedside shift rounds and handoff
protocols - Adhere to uniform and professional dress codes within
the unit guidelines Qualifications & Desired Experience: - Current
and active RN license - Proficiency in telemetry nursing and
cardiac patient care - Certifications required: Advanced Stroke
Life Support (ASLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) - Experience with
chest tubes, high-flow oxygen therapy, BiPAP, and cardiac-specific
procedures - Ability to maintain patient ratios of approximately
5:1 and work within a team including CNAs and unit clerks -
Familiarity with hospital policies within a STEMI-certified, Level
II Trauma and Stroke Center environment Schedule/Hours: - Typically
3 twelve-hour shifts per week with every other weekend requirement,
or a 4-week shift option available About the Location:Dover, NH is
