• Employment Type: TravelPACU RN - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Night Shift)Contract: 13 weeksShift: PM - 12-hour shiftsSchedule: 36 hours/week, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AMShift flexibility required - must be able to work any combination of listed shiftsEvery 3rd weekend and holiday as neededNo on-call requiredFacility Overview:
  • Unit Type: PACU (Phase 1 Recovery)
  • Open 24/7
  • Case Volume: 30-60 cases/day
  • Floating: May float to Moakley PACU if needed
  • Case Types Include:
    • Trauma, Pediatrics, Ortho, General, Cardiac Cath
    • Interventional Radiology (IR)
    • Neuro (IR)
    • Electrophysiology (EP)
    • Thoracic, Vascular, SpineRequired Experience:
      • 2+ years PACU Phase 1 recovery experience in high-acuity settings
      • Strong clinical background in:
        • Neuro, thoracic, vascular, and ortho spine recovery
        • Telemetry rhythm strip interpretation (must independently identify heart blocks)
        • Must pass telemetry exam on Day 1 with a minimum score of 84%
        • Pediatric PACU experience preferredRequired Certifications:
          • Basic Life Support (BLS) - active
          • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - active
          • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - activePreferred Qualifications:
