Waters Corporation, Taunton ,MA, -is currently seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician II to join our Chemistry Operations Manufacturing QC Team. As a member of the Chemistry Operation Chemical Manufacturing Team, the successful candidate will work in the Quality Control Laboratory supporting the manufacture of Bulk Chromatographic Materials by qualifying materials on each manufacturing step.This is a 3rd shift position (11:00pm- 7.30am) at Taunton MA.

• The QC testing requires using variety of lab methodology & instrumentation & associated computer software(S) such as TGA, Carbon, pH, Density, Total solids, Karl Fisher, Titrator, Nitrogen Sorption, Particle Size, UV/Vis, Conductivity, ICP Atomic Emission, GC, and -Liquid Chromatography - and Also assist in Stamping Final Release Material. -
• QC testing & reporting for Bulk Chromatographic material qualification for existing products & raw materials & some new products.
• Operating & basic troubleshooting for all QC testing methods & instrumentations, generating & reviewing Quality Records & Certificate of Analysis for existing products & some new products.
• Writing & revising simple QC procedures & forms, promoting QC lab continuous improvements & taking relevant improvement initiatives, ensuring & promoting compliance with all Quality & Safety & Environmental policies & practices
  • BS or Associate Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or related discipline is desired
  • Experience in chromatography, chemical manufacutring - and analytical sciences preferred.
  • Ability to use common office computer software is required.
