Manager, External and Regulatory AffairsBraintree, MA - Full-timeCompetitive Power Ventures, Inc. ("CPV"), with headquarters in Silver Spring, MD, and offices in Braintree, MA and Sugar Land, TX, is a leading clean energy company leveraging global technology and financial partnerships to help modernize America's power generation.CPV is looking for a Manager, External and Regulatory Affairs to join its External Affairs team. This position is located in the greater Boston, MA area, and reports to the Vice President of External & Regulatory Affairs. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to execute, manage, monitor and coordinate the regulatory strategy and advocacy within PJM, MISO, SPP and emerging markets of interest to the company.Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the Company's regulatory strategy within the PJM, MISO, SPP and other ISO/RTO footprints including market design initiatives, interconnection activities and potential growth opportunities.
• Participate in stakeholder proceedings to further company objectives.
• Manage and direct assigned consultants and external support to ensure alignment and impact.
• Represent the company within appropriate Trade Associations.
• Track and participate in key initiatives and legislative efforts at the state and local level for assigned footprint.Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree.
  • Minimum five (5) + years' experience with electricity generation or wholesale marketing.
  • A strong understanding of the principles of Independent System Operators and Regional Transmission Organizations.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with a strong entrepreneur mindset, eager to learn and grow their position and role in the team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with a key towards accurate and economic execution.
  • Strong oral and written skills.
  • Skilled in working with spreadsheets.
  • Ability to travel - 20-30%.
  • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background and financial credit check.
