$3,000 Bonus $1,500 after 6 months $1,500 after 12 monthsJob Summary:The Clinical Director provides clinical leadership and direction to all Mental Health Community Services programs and Bay Cove administered sub-contracts.This is an Exempt position.Reports To: Vice President of Mental Health Community ServicesSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneEssential Functions of Position: With the Vice President, provide administrative oversight to the delivery of clinical services by establishing systems, structures, policies and procedures with the focus on maintaining and improving efficiency, effectiveness and quality of clinical services. Participate in program development, providing clinical oversight to the implementation of new services and initiatives. Work with members of the leadership team to assure successful communication and coordination among and throughout programs. Ensure that clear and relevant risk management strategies are developed and utilized consistently that promote effective communication and handoffs throughout services. Ensure that requisite safety and risk management practices are attended to on an ongoing basis. Works as a collaborative partner with staff from the Department of Mental Health central, area, and site offices. Provide requisite support to all services and staff through on-call availability, training, and provision of timely guidance. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. Assist with the development and implementation of in-service training for agency staff. Participate in interagency committees and information sharing meetings. Other duties and projects as assigned by the Vice President of Mental Health Community Services.Qualifications: Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field required. LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or other behavioral health category which qualifies as Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts and at least ten years post-licensure experience working in mental health services required. At least 15 years of progressive clinical experience in a range of residential, therapeutic & experiential learning and community-based treatment environments required. At least 5 years experience providing clinical and administrative supervision to direct care staff and clinicians required. Demonstrated passion for collaborating with Persons, their families, communities, and staff to develop and implement clinical services which are informed by evidence-based practices, which are recovery and resiliency-oriented, and which achieve relevant, measurable outcomes. Solid understanding of clinical and recovery principles. Demonstrated ability to operationalize service models. Demonstrated relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to balance clinical and financial goals. Professional writing and verbal communications skills. High degree of personal organization, attention to detail, and time management skills. Proficiency in word processing and other computer functions using Windows, Word, and Google Email and Apps. Use of personal cellular telephone for work communication. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply, pay differential offered for candidates with fluency in certain essential languages. A COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of the position.
