Job Description:

The Director of User Experience Design & Research is responsible for managing multiple teams of UX designers and researchers, as well as defining and driving the UX strategy and direction for products for Precisely. This person works with various internal and external stakeholders to provide consistency and vision for our products across multiple business domain areas and will assist R&D leadership in driving our UX strategy. They will also develop strategies to create synergies around processes and tools that ensure not only consistency, but more importantly, the highest levels of usability in our industry through user research, usability testing, visual and interactive design, and other UX techniques. Responsibilities Work with executive leaders to define and deliver on the product UX strategy for Precisely. Ensure design and research teams are focused on the delivery of strategic and high-priority projects. Work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional product teams, including architects, engineers, information development, product managers, and other subject matter experts to create user-focused global solutions. Ensure user research is conducted, including competitive analysis and studies to understand customer behavior, refine design approaches, and validate solutions. Ensure consistent and effective processes are utilized to create high-quality designs using best practices for DesignOps and the Precisely Prism Design System. Work with product leadership to improve and measure progress against Design Thinking maturity. Communicate status, risks, and constraints to senior leadership regularly. Work with organization leaders to define and manage UX budget. Assist in creating a positive work environment. Additional responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees as needed; assisting with project planning; managing personnel, and appraising performance. Qualifications 5+ years of experience leading a user experience design team. Experience with delivery of cloud products. Experience in the data management space is preferred. 10+ years of experience in user interface design, information architecture, interaction design, human factors, and other related UX disciplines.Salary Range: $250K -- $500K+*Minimum QualificationDesign & UX
