What You Will Do: Pratt & Whitney (P&W) is seeking a detail
oriented, goal focused individual to be a Product Manufacturing
Engineer working on the New Product Introduction (NPI) team for Hot
Section Module Center (HSMC). In this role, the selected individual
will be responsible for full value stream manufacturing part
ownership for Turbine Airfoil Blades through the life cycle of new
programs, ensuring the progression of Process Development,
Development Hardware Fabrication, Manufacturing Readiness Level
(MRL), Production Rate Readiness (PRR), Advanced Part Quality
Planning (APQP), and First Article Inspection. The selected
candidates will have the opportunity to work in a fast pace and
dynamic manufacturing environment on the next generation of
development programs. Primary location in East Hartford, CT and up
to 10% travel may be required. Responsibilities: Provide
manufacturing producibility feedback on new designs as a member of
the Integrated Product Team (IPT) with engineering. Coordinate with
supporting Process MEs to ensure a balanced and healthy value
stream. Ensure the advancement of MRL and APQP activities through
risk identification and closure plan execution. Drive targeted
manufacturing process improvement/optimization activities. Utilize
the Agile framework for managing and prioritizing tasks. Create and
manage schedules ensuring on time delivery of development and FAI
hardware. Integrate with Quality, Operations, and Suppliers to
ensure schedule needs are planned and executed. Communicate task
status in a highly visible environment concisely and clearly. Up to
10% domestic travel may be required. Obtain and hold a Secret Level
Security Clearance. Qualifications You Must Have: 5 years of
relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a
related technical field, or 3 years of relevant experience with an
advanced degree. Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and
written), work and relate with people at all levels of the
organization Strong project management skills US Citizenship
required due to requirement to obtain and maintain secret clearance
Qualifications We Prefer: Previous operations / manufacturing
experience Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and
Tolerancing (GD&T) Proficiency in the application of continuous
improvement tools: Process Certification, Value Stream Mapping,
Standard Work, PFMEA, Six Sigma and/or Red-X Experience with Agile

This role is: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles
will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and
maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of
our engines. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure

remote. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative
of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when
