our team as a Senior Program Quality Lead (PQL) supporting the
CLS-XBR program as part of Strategic Sensors & Precision Strike
Business Unit of Raytheon Missiles and Defense in Woburn, MA. In
this role, you'll drive a robust quality culture, practices, and
collaboration efforts. As the primary quality interface for
customers and suppliers, you'll ensure the program meets all
Quality & Mission Assurance requirements. This includes
coordinating with functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and
overseeing contracts consisting of software/system engineering
development efforts and sustainment. You'll develop and monitor
quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives,
working closely with integrated teams to enforce process rigor. The
PQL will be responsible for ensuring reviews and assessments of
program performance are performed, including technical assessments
of systems and software engineering, lessons learned, technology,
and programmatic (cost, schedule, and risks and/or defects)
practices assuring Quality management System (QMS) processes are
defined and implemented. This is an “Hybrid” role based in Woburn,
MA. What You Will Do : You will engage on both strategic and
tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule
performance, early engagement, influencing and providing
differentiating quality value to program teams and customers You
will develop partnerships with program and production stakeholders,
IPTs, and support functions to drive issue resolution and implement
improved processes. You will develop and implement strategic and
tactical Mission Assurance plans that will directly affect the
program’s execution and influence. You will initiate and perform
root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement
closed loop process controls to improve product/process
predictability and capability. You will interpret command media in
compliance to work being performed. You will generate new Cost of
Poor Quality (CoPQ) projects to reduce costs on the program. You
will implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with
AS9145, as applicable. Qualification You Must Have : Typically
requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant
experience in the areas below; Working experience in Engineering,
Manufacturing, Operations or Quality. Active and transferable
Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior
to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens
are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer :
Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management
Systems. Working experience translating external and internal
requirements and command media. Working experience in providing
technical program expertise for manufacturing and/or design
processes. Working and auditing experience with a Quality
Management System (ISO 9001 and/or AS9100). Experience establishing
customer relations and communications processes. Experience
applying Government Quality Requirements and Standards including
aerospace, commercial, defense, and space industries. Experience
driving successful performance of major subcontractors, suppliers
and/or IOTs Experience with AN/TPY-2 or SBX radar development,
production or sustainment Software Quality Engineering Experience
working in Agile Framework Environment (SAFE) and Dev Ops
Experience with Contracts / Contract Requirements Experience
identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with requirements,
program functionality, and Software releases (tactile and
simulation). Experience monitoring software defects using a bug
tracking system, tools and report defects to stakeholders.
Experience defining and analyzing Quality metrics. Experience
collaborating cross functionally with the other QA leads and
functions Experience assessing Engineering work products (Peer
Reviews, Configuration Control Boards, Code Reviews, Product
Readiness and Sale, etc.) to identify and eliminate in-phase
defects Experience performing project data evaluation to drive root
cause and correction action Experience participating in test
preparation and execution to ensure requirements are verified
Experience in gate reviews (e.g. Test Readiness, Ship Readiness)
Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management Experience
with RTX/Raytheon/RMD policies and procedures Experience with DOD,
ISO, AS/QS, GMP, and other national / international standards
Experience in product life cycle from design through sustainment
Experience in the effective use of Root Cause Corrective Action
containment and process and tools RMD Six Sigma and/or CORE
qualified, or demonstrated skill Experience leading, coaching and
mentoring others in routine settings and complex situations.
Experience collaborating cross functionally with the other QA leads
and functions Experience participating in test preparation and
execution to ensure requirements are verified Experience in other
functional areas such as engineering, supplier engineering, or
operations. Experience using interpersonal skills and working with
customers, suppliers, and in a team environment. Experience
facilitating cross-functional teams in systematic improvement
activities. Experience working with and technically interfacing
with various engineering disciplines. Experience using sound
judgement and applying resolution-making skills with appropriate
supervisory intervention. Experience communicating verbally and in
written communications and networking with other stakeholders.
Experience in audits, nonconformance review boards (MRB/FRB), and

role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
