Job Description:
Mold Technician - 3rd Shift Hourly/Shift pay: $19.00
differentiation pay Monday - Thursday - 11:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Friday - Saturday - 11:00 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. POSITION SUMMARY The
Mold Technician is an entryâ??level role that requires the ability
to communicate effectively with production teams and all support
groups. The technician must accurately document all work performed
and completed, ensuring proper communication and recordkeeping
throughout the process. CORE FUNCTIONS • Perform mold change
activities to ensure proper equipment changeovers. • Adjust machine
settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications
and in a timely fashion. • Perform operational procedures to ensure
the quality of the product produced. • Identify the proper tooling
required for pending production. • Inspect the condition of molds
and component parts for damage and wear. Inspect machine, conveyer
and tools in department and notify Lead that a maintenance repair
form is needed, or replacement tools are required. • Assist other
maintenance employees with repairs, PM, installation commissioning
and testing of equipment. • Analyze and resolve all issues related
to the equipment. • Keep all molds/tools in good and safe condition
and ensure molds/tools are returned to their appropriate location.
• Ensuring mold is stored in the designated area after the job is
completed. • Recommend, plan, repair, modify, and fabricate any
necessary elements following a problem or a project, which may
influence the productivity to improve the production equipment,
utilities, efficiency, and reliability. • Assist in maintaining
mold locations are up-to-date, mold storage is organized, and mold
locations are kept clean. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education
and Experience • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
is required. • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college
or technical school; or equivalent combination of education,
training, and experience preferred. • Prior experience operating
manufacturing and process control equipment required. •
Thermoforming, Injection Mold, or related machine operator
experience preferred. Required Licenses • Powered Industrial Truck
Certifications preferred (Forklift, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker).
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge • Ability to solve practical
problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists. • Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram, or schedule form. • Identifies and resolves problems in a
timely manner. • Ability to gather and analyze information
skillfully. • Ability to develop alternative solutions. • Ability
to work well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even
when dealing with emotional topics. • Ability to read and interpret
electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings and prints. Travel •

Individual Contributor: working team member with no oversight of
others and no management responsibilities. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS •
This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds
of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently,
and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Activities • This position is subject to the following
physical activities: climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching,
reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping,
feeling, crawling, and repetitive motions. Visual Acuity • The
worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an
activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures;
transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading;
visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or
operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement
devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close
to the eyes. Working Conditions • The worker is subject to inside
and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise,
