A school psychologist is needed for a contract position in New Britain, CT, to support students academic, social, and emotional development within a school setting. This role involves collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to create positive learning environments and provide interventions tailored to individual student needs. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and offering counseling services. The school psychologist will evaluate and address learning difficulties, behavioral challenges, and mental health concerns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines. Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff are essential to foster student success.
