Job Description:
Duties: Partner with senior directors, directors, and other
stakeholders to understand company-wide supply chain priorities by defining
project impact; translating objectives into project scope; and then
collaborating with engineering teams to develop, launch and iterate on those
projects. Identify and prioritize process and technology changes for
specific functional areas of supply chain systems. Work with engineering
and Quality Assurance teams to roll out new tools or enhancements, ensuring
issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved. Utilize SQL,
data analytics, and additional proprietary tools to address problems
by finding patterns and performing root cause analysis. Review KPI’s and
metrics to as assess the effectiveness of implemented changes and projected
benefit of pr proposed changes. Requirements: Master's degree (or higher) in Engineering,
Information Systems, Information management or related field (willing to
accept foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years of software product
management or business analysis experience working with operational systems.
Or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience
as noted above. One year of experience must include: Identifying
ongoing opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce cost by
improving the usability of existing tools as well as evaluating new
functionality/ capabilities to address identified gaps; Counseling business
leaders in operations and other departments on strategic workflow
optimization and process definition initiatives; Creating strategic roadmaps for
growth and managing implementation against deadlines and milestones;
Developing business cases for product development, including defining
business goals, translating high-level business requirements into more detailed
functional specifications for technology solutions and analyzing business
return; Using agile methodologies including data analytics for
prioritization and impact analysis to work with Engineering and QA to roll out new
tools or enhancements, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported
on, and resolved; Working closely with business stakeholders to create a
UAT plan, validating test case results, and ensuring delivery of quality
product features that meet business requirements; Reporting on business
case and KPI analysis using Excel, DASH, or WARP, and using KPIs to
monitor performance and measure impact of product enhancements;
Analyzing data to understand the scope, impact, and priority of our business
objectives, and working with engineering teams to transform that knowledge into
system enhancements and new features; Analyzing symptoms of system
issues and utilizing SQL or other relational databases, data analytics, or
other research tools to find patterns and help identify the root
cause; and Managing and executing process improvement initiatives from
start to finish, including project management, data gathering and
modeling, problem solving, and keeping stakeholders informed on the plan,
progress, results, and roadblocks.
